Opening Day!

There's nothing quite like opening day. Opening Day for Baseball. No sport quite matches the excitement surrounding that first pitch of the season.

In the youth world, my high school team opened its season with a scrimmage this afternoon. While the score doesn't matter (we won!!!!!), it was great to be out on a diamond again in relatively mild March weather.

We'll slowly move into our regular season schedule and the Nationals will begin shortly after that, but there's still nothing quite like that first pitch. '08 is off and running...
